Dude, that was fabulous and so true. Sites that play music automatically... annoying, especially when you can't find the player to turn it off if you aren't ready to listen yet. Hope you get some gigs out of this!

This is a truly wonderful post, and dead on 100% accurate. Bravo. I wish that every band we love could read this and live it.

Great review! It's such an amazing song - if this track doesn't propel them into the stratosphere, nothing will.

Conviction was so much better than Knives. What a POS I like William Control's Hate Culture better than this junk. The album seems rushed.

I hope that Kill Hannah doesn't suffer the same fate, since the label wanted to force the album out as quickly as possible.

It's just such a goddamn shame when bands fall so hard on their face. Sometimes, just as we have no fucking clue what the fans want, we don't know what WE want. So bands I think, try and mitigate that by putting out what they think wants to be heard in an effort to find that themselves.

Or I guess in Aiden's situation, they're the nicely dressed vampires who came out into the sunlight and got their pale asses burned.

But I know of certain vampire species that if powerful enough can withstand sunlight. No lie. <--- rpg nerd

As I've said before, I think BC might be a bit ahead of his time with this one, though bands surely will catch on, just as they have with other models of putting out music.

Also as I've said before, "selling out" doesn't exist anymore. Bands have to get paid, the labels are collapsing. They're getting paid for new music, while nothing is coming out of my pocket. While you have to avoid spreading yourself too thin and opening your creative legs for any and every commercial to come along, eventually every band will have to do something comparable, I believe. Merchandise and ticket sales alone cannot make up for the thousands of lost dollars due to illegal downloading. And since it is a trend that's here to stay, bands must learn to work within and around them.

As far as the song goes, it does its job: it's catchy, simple and the chorus gets stuck in your head. I say bravo BC and Co.
